Daniel Gaudiello
Biography
Daniel has been in the theatre since the age of 6 and recently worked with Australian Directors Joanne Samuel (Mad Max) and Jesse A’hern on his first Feature film “The Legend of the Five” being released this year. Prior to this he has created many lead and supporting roles for short films in Victoria, New South Wales, and now Queensland. In 2019 Daniel had the opportunity to work with director Patrick Fileti and Great Northern Beer on a dramatic Commercial filmed in Cairns. It was nominated for a casting Guild Award. He has had TV guest appearances on The Kerri-Anne Kennerley show,
Channel 10, and ABC Creature Features “Celebrity Pets” segment. Daniel started his Acting for film training in Sydney with Sandra Lee Paterson at Fox
Studios and then short stints working on Chubbuck technique with 16th Street and
Lyndelle Green in melbourne. His inspiration to leave the dance world came after
working with the world renowned choreographer Graeme Murphy in the adaptation of the opera “The Silver Rose”.
His first experience with theatre Acting came through performing the Soldier in “The Soldiers Tale” in Melbourne. Daniel is also Co-Producing his first Feature Film in Brisbane and is always aiming to mesh all his eclectic strengths into one artistic career in film and TV. Prior to leaving the dance world he was nominated for three Helpmann awards and won an Australian Dance award and a Greenroom Award. Most recently, Daniel has co-produced and choreographed for a film “The Red Shoes: The Next Step”, shot in Sydney in 2021 and due to be released 2022.
